Ochosi Yaw Nkromah

Ochosi was a passionate activist who inspired countless people in Suriname, Africa, Asia and the Netherlands to stand up for their rights, to organize themselves and to claim their position. He was co-founder of Ojise, spiritual leader and training coordinator.
Fred Fitz-James

Fred was a passionate teacher in the field of African cultural heritage. He was founder and/or organizer of Colored Festival, Ha-Shi-Ba and Keti Koti Festival Rotterdam. Fred was instrumental in the idea of founding Ojise.
We are grateful to our spiritual elders for pointing the path we must walk. We thank them for their legacy of wisdom, knowledge, values and ideas. They are invaluable. We will cherish them and develop them further.
